Village Players of Fort Thomas is a vibrant community theatre, continually producing plays and musicals for almost 60 years. Our productions range across a spectrum of periods and styles, presented in the Mary & Don Haas Theater, our intimate, three-quarter-thrust performance space in the heart of Fort Thomas, Kentucky. We stage innovative and of-the-moment works alongside beloved classic pieces while serving as an incubator for new talent, ideas, and writing. Each season features four mainstage shows, as well as two special summer programs: a production of original short plays produced by the New Works branch of the group, and a production of a Theatre for Young Audiences play produced by our educational theatre initiative NextGen.

In 2018, Village Players acquired the building at 8 North Fort Thomas Ave. Since then, we have established 8 North Center for the Arts, a community art center, offering a wide variety of arts programming. The Judith Sarakatsannis Gallery hosts art shows featuring the work of local artists. The Backdrop series features art inspired by the themes of our current theatrical production. In addition, 8 North Center for the arts hosts arts classes, concerts, and Third Space, our community gathering series. Regardless of your interests, we are sure to have a program for you!

Village Players is a member of the American Association of Community Theatre (AACT), Association of Community Theatres Cincinnati (ACT), Ohio Community Theatre Association (OCTA), and the Kentucky Theatre Association (KTA).
